Architecture loops open with a resume-led hiring-manager round, then technical rounds that weight micro-architecture design and quantitative performance reasoning. Design and performance carry the most weight (~60% combined), often with numbers on the whiteboard.

How to prepare
- Resume stories: rehearse a project end to end and lead with your own role, not the team's.
- Pipelines: be fluent on the classic 5-stage pipeline, hazards, and forwarding.
- Memory: work out cache, TLB, and predictor designs with real numbers (CPI, miss rates).
- OoO & coherence: know ROB/rename/reservation stations and MESI.
- Quantitative: practice Amdahl and roofline bottleneck analysis out loud.
